OrderIQ Privacy Policy

Effective October 16, 2026

Summary

OrderIQ does not collect, store or share your personal information on any server we run. Everything you enter, and every location the app records, stays on your device. We have no accounts, no analytics and no advertising.

This policy explains what the app keeps on your device, how it uses your location, and the Apple services it relies on to work.

Information stored on your device

The app saves the following in its local database on your device. We cannot see any of it.

WhatExamplesWhere it comes from
OrdersDate, store, order total, pay, tip, rating, mileage, notesYou enter it, or import a CSV file
CustomersDelivery address, cached driving distanceYou enter it when logging an order
Mileage tripsStart and end time, start and end address, miles driven, notesRecorded by the trip tracker while a trip is running
SettingsTip thresholds, offer floors, reminder delay, default storeYou set them in Settings

Customer addresses belong to the people you deliver to. OrderIQ keeps them only so you can recognize repeat customers, and they never leave your device except through actions you start (see Exporting below).

Location

OrderIQ asks for location access for two features. Both are optional, and you can change the permission at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > OrderIQ.

  • Address autofill (While Using the App). When you log an order, the app can read your current location once to fill in the delivery address.
  • Mileage tracking (Always). When you start a mileage trip, the app records your location in the background until you end the trip, so it can total the miles for your tax records. It does not track your location when no trip is running.

Location data is used only on your device. The app saves the trip’s start and end addresses and the total distance. It does not keep a log of every point along your route.

Apple services

To turn locations into addresses and to work out driving distances, OrderIQ uses Apple Maps (MapKit). For those requests, your device sends Apple a location or address, such as your store and a customer’s address. Apple handles that data under the Apple Privacy Policy. We never receive it.

Order reminders are local notifications that your device schedules on its own. Nothing is sent to a server.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t require an account or sign-in.
  • We don’t use analytics, crash-reporting or advertising SDKs.
  • We don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
  • We don’t sell, rent or share your information with anyone.
  • We aren’t affiliated with Shipt or any delivery platform, and we send them nothing.

Exporting and backups

You can export your orders or mileage trips as a CSV file and import CSV files. These happen only when you start them, and the file goes wherever you choose to save or send it. Like other app data, OrderIQ’s database is included in your device backups (for example, iCloud Backup) if you have them turned on.

Deleting your data

  • Clear All Data in Settings deletes all orders and customers.
  • Mileage trips can be deleted individually in Trip History.
  • Deleting the app removes everything it has stored on your device.

Children

OrderIQ is a tool for working delivery shoppers. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the effective date at the top.
